Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro has multiple uses for a forklift from moving pallets, totes of equipment, fluids and ESS battery units from electric busses. We are seeking a new forklift that can remove our ESS battery packs from the roof and rear of our electric vehicles. (See Exhibit 1) The system must meet the following requirements to be considered: • Have a lifting capacity of 5000 lbs or higher. • Have a maximum lift clearance of 138 inches or higher. • Be able to hold 1400 pounds at the 138-inches height and safely back up. • The fuel source must be gasoline or diesel. • Must meet ANSI B56.1 safety standards for north America. • Must have operator presence system. • Must have a seat belt. • Must have rear grab handle with horn function. • Must have roof mounted strobe light, forward and back up lights and brake lights. • Forks must be included in purchase price 42 inch or 48 inches. • Must have an operations hour meter. • Must have fuel level gauge. • Must have engine fault indicator. • Must have a cab for drop protection of operator. • Must have adjustable suspension operator seat. • Must be in new condition and come with factory warranty of 12 months or 2,000 key hours. • Pneumatic tires • Four (4) wheels
