Specifications include, but are not limited to: FLOOR STRIPPING AND WAXING - A. Before beginning the process, the floor shall be dust mopped removing surface dirt, other trash, and debris. B. Strip floor surface, removing all the old existing wax. C. Rinse thoroughly, removing all wax and stripping solution. D. One (1) coat of floor sealer shall be applied prior to the application of the wax finish followed by applying three (3) coats of wax finish. Ensure each application has thoroughly dried before the next coast is applied. E. Buff floors to a high gloss, non-slip finish. F. All baseboards/cove, furniture, bottoms of doors, and stationary fixtures shall be free of stripping solution splashes, floor sealer and wax finish. Use a hand tool, pad, or extension pole to clean the edges and corners and tight areas. FLOOR WAXING - A. Use a hand tool, pad, or extension pole to clean the edges and corners and tight areas. GROUTED TILE FLOORING MAINTENANCE - A. Dry sweep floor to remove loose debris. B. Using a neutral cleaner (Waxie Grout & Tile Maintainer or similar product), damp mop removing oil, dirt, grit, and any other debris from floor (do not saturate floor with water). C. For restroom floors, mix a bacteria killing enzyme deodorizer in the rinse water (Ramsey’s Kil-Oder or similar product) and pour mop bucket water down the floor and/or sink drains.
