Specifications include, but are not limited to: provisions of estimating, labor, supervision, travel costs, equipment, materials and other services as specified in this bid package for commercial painting services and within the City of Manchester. The City maintains approximately 70 structures and there is a need for painting services as needed and as funding allows. The City will enter into a written contract for Painting Services with the ability to extend for up to five years based on the bid tabulations. Each “to be determined” painting project will utilize an approach as follows, 1. Detailed estimate by contracted painter of work to be accomplished and based on bid values. 2. If approved, the City will issue a purchase order for that specific project based on bid tabulated costs of services. 3. The contractor will proceed with the work based on the estimate. 4. Once completed, inspected and accepted by the City including any cleanup, invoice the City for the work.
