Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Utah State Courts currently have (24) Smiths Detection Hi-Scan model X-ray machines at courthouses around the state that need to be under this contract (we have at least 3 machines that will need to be added in year 2 as well). This equipment is comprised of assemblies, subassemblies, and parts specifically designed, developed and used in Smiths Detection products. Smiths Detection is the only source for replacement parts in the United States as they are the only service provider that carries a Safety Act Certification in the U.S. for their equipment. The current Hi-Scan X-ray models the Courts use are: • 5030s • 5030si • 6040i • 5030c; The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking bids from companies for a maintenance agreement for these Utah State Courts Xray machines. On-site service coverage is Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm Mountain time (excluding holidays). This agreement includes all labor, travel time and expenses. This service will start as soon as possible in 2024 for approximately (1) year with (4) years of renewals available by mutual agreement. The bidder must agree to each of the following to have their bid accepted: o Must be serviced by a certified technician for Smiths Detection machines. o Must provide all replacement parts required from Smiths Detection. o Technician must be on-site within 48 hours (excluding Saturday, Sundays or Holidays) o Includes (1) annual maintenance check with complete operation and calibration procedure. o Includes (1) annual radiation survey. o Access to Technical Support Help Desk (including troubleshooting over the phone). o Must provide estimated dates of repair, parts, delivery status and technician arrivals. o The ability to cycle on new machines at a pro-rated rate. o The ability to drop coverage of any machines the Courts no longer use at a pro-rated rate.
