Specifications include, but are not limited to: The search firm will work collaboratively with the faculty recruitment office of Education and Faculty Affairs to ensure proper policies are adhered to, processes followed, and stakeholder inclusion. The search firm will work collaboratively to support the work of the UND SMHS search committee and partners as the UND SMHS will be taking the lead on soliciting input from stakeholders, drafting the position description, and surveying faculty as appropriate. The search firm will work in partnership with the UND SMHS on the previously drafted position description and engage in direct and indirect recruitment efforts to recruit, vet, interview, and recommend for the consideration of the UND SMHS. The firm will work in partnership to recruit a leader at the UND SMHS regarding logistical details such as candidate scheduling, travel, electronic communications, etc. The search firm will also verify credentials and conduct extensive reference checks of finalists. The search firm shall communicate effectively with the UND SMHS, and ensure that the school is informed about each step in the process. Special consideration will be given to a firm that has a strong track record of working collaboratively with a school’s executive team. Demonstrating a strategic vision for the recruitment process as well as a solid planning process will also be given special consideration.
