Specifications include, but are not limited to: DPW seeks responsible, qualified, and experienced firms to perform the following scope of work: • Research latest land surveying information needed for awarded surveys. • Perform and adjust horizontal and/or vertical control survey(s) of designated area(s) within the burn zone. • Perform evidentiary surveys to include boundary and witness monuments, and existing improvements within the burn zone. • Reconcile right-of-way and designated boundaries directly related to field surveys performed. • Perform verification surveys as determined by DPW. • Provide map with professional seal of respective surveys pursuant to format to be determined by DPW. • Provide raw data of survey in original format and PDF version, coordinate file in csv or txt format, and CAD file of performed surveys. • Archive and maintain a database of all researched and completed surveys in GIS format for inclusion in the County of Maui’s GIS system or other web access portals. The field survey and mapping standards shall be in accordance to the latest American Land Title and Mapping Standards, and safety procedures the responsibility of the awarded contract owners. The purpose for the horizontal network is to assist the public in establishing record or reconciled boundary lines. The purpose for the vertical control network is to assist the public in conforming to flood zone requirements during new construction, if any.
