Specifications include, but are not limited to: Typical maintenance services that may be requested include but are not limited to: • Engine oil and filter change • Lubrication of all grease fittings, slide contact points, roller chains and pivot points • Hydraulic oil filter change and/or hydraulic oil change • Replacement of coolant or flushing of equipment’s cooling system to remove contaminants • Additional repair work discovered by inspection or requested by State personnel The Preventative Maintenance inspection at each service, shall at a minimum include: • Clean machine with compressed air, conditions permitting • Clean and lubricate all grease fittings • Lubricate any and all slides, roller chains, hinges, pivot points, etc. • Inspect tire condition and pressure • Inspect all belts, chains or other exposed drive components for proper tension, damage and wear • Inspect all hoses for cuts, frays, leaks or severe wear • Check air cleaner condition, blow out with compressed air • Check engine coolant condition and level, fill if necessary • Check engine oil level, • Check brake fluid level, fill if necessary • Check transmission and differential fluid level, fill if necessary • Check hydraulic oil level, fill if necessary • Inspect all steering components for looseness or wear • Check battery voltage and electrolyte levels/condition if applicable • Inspect brake pedal linkage, adjust if necessary • Inspect all hydraulic cylinders for leaks • Operational check and physical inspection of machine • Complete inspection of all safety components
