Specifications include, but are not limited to: To create an online tool for the Delaware Wildlife Action Plan, and a database to hold the data used in creating the Plan. The project purpose is to enhance the public delivery of the Delaware Wildlife Action Plan (DEWAP) by developing a DEWAP Online Tool, complete with all required elements of the Wildlife Action Plan and accessible mapping components to assist the public and partners with using and applying the wealth of information currently in the Plan. Activities to be performed include 1) creating a DEWAP Online Tool with all species, habitats, issues, and actions identified in the 2015 DEWAP, to be updated with the 2025 DEWAP data and launched alongside Plan submission, and 2) managing the DEWAP Database, currently populated with data from the 2015 DEWAP, to be converted into an online database for integration with the DEWAP Online Tool and updated with 2025 DEWAP data. An enhanced Wildlife Action Plan will result in significant conservation benefits for all of Delaware’s SGCN and common species through coordinated and targeted wildlife and habitat conservation efforts by DFW and partners.
