Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Weight: 1.1. Machine weight: Minimum 7800lbs. without spool or tarps for landfill use. 1.2. Combination weight: Minimum 14,000lbs. with spool, two tarps (40 by 150), ballast, cables, and lift assembly. 2. Frame: 2.1. Heavy gauge structure steel. 2.2. Structural main beams shall be interconnected with diagonal truss supports. 2.3. Frame members shall be laser cut then welded in place. 2.4. Structural beams shall terminate into structural steel tubing Sled End Supports. 2.5. The Tarp Deployer frame shall be constructed in such a manner that it balances the spool and tarps, (cradles) to reduce stress on the structural members thus reducing the likelihood of cracking. 3. Tarp Spool Drive: 3.1. Spool drive mechanism shall be mounted to the inside of the tarp deployer frame. 3.2. Spool drive mechanism shall be installed directly to the Tarp Deployer frame. This drive mechanism shall use gear and sprocket design that allows for self-alignment without a need for on the ground spotter. 3.3. Spool drive adaptors shall be provided for three (3) existing 40 ft wide Tarp-O-Matic spools. 4. Tarp Spool: 4.1. Shall include one tarp spool capable of accommodating two (2) 40ft by 157ft in length 30 mil ballasted tarps. 4.2. Tarp spool shall be compatible with gear and sprocket drive. 5. Engine and Hydraulic System: 5.1. Engine shall operate on diesel fuel. 5.2. Horsepower shall be a minimum of 14hp at 3000RPM. 5.3. Air cooled four-stroke. 5.4. Torque at spool shall be a minimum of 800ft pounds. 5.5. Shall be capable of start and stop with wireless remote-control inside operator’s cab. 5.6.
