Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Judiciary, State of Hawai’i hereby invites licensed attorneys and non-attorney applicants to submit letters of interest and statements of qualifications to provide legal services and/or GAL services on a contract basis as the need arises for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2024. Attorneys may provide Legal Counsel or GAL services or both for the Family Court of the Second Circuit; The objective is to provide the Judiciary with legal counsel services for indigent parents and young adults participating in the Voluntary Foster Care Program under HRS Chapter 346, Part XIX, GAL services for parties in HRS Chapter 587A, and GAL services for youngsters in HRS Chapter 571 proceedings that are heard in the Family Court of the Second Circuit.
