Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Develop and assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training for the VPA Community Inclusion Director and VPA FIP Training expert. 2. Identify relevant transferable skills for Vermont Criminal Justice Council as well as the recruitment efforts to fill FIP related positions. 3. Working with subject matter experts and stakeholders, establish hourless training tracks in the effective and high liability realm including performance metrics easily explained to all relevant stakeholders. 4. The consultant will collaborate with potential legislative testimony as needed. 5. The consultant will plan for individual coaching and training. 6. Assist with VCJC retreat activities in the area of trauma policing DEI and ungrieved loss as it relates to policing. 7. Assist with developing a professional development series for VPA- VCJC – and Law Enforcement 8. The consultant will work to identify and adjust relevant internal and VCJC policies and expectations regarding DEI, defining implicit bias and grouping. 9. The consultant will train identified stakeholders in the historical context of racial inequity, definitions of terms, the roots of conflict, implicit bias, and systemic racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion – Culture privilege and subjugated selves. 10. The consultant will collaborate to develop training and hourless training tracks as a part of DEI onboarding program.
