Specifications include, but are not limited to: Washington County Road Department is seeking bids for a 7.5K Emulsion Tank • TANK CAN: o Single-compartment 7,500-gallon vertical tank can o Constructed using ¼” thick A-36 carbon steel • TANK MODS: o Top diamond plate platform with external ladder to tank top o 22” hinged dome lid located on top of tank o Side-entry bolt on manway located at side bottom o 3” internal overflow/vent • INSULATION & SKIN: o 3” high density fiberglass with an embossed aluminum skin (black or natural aluminum color) • TANK LEVEL: o PSI or radar level device with digital display on the control panel o Alarms will be interlocked to shut off heater when the tank falls below the heating tubes as well o as a high-level shutoff for loading pump (if included) when level approaches the overflow height • PRODUCT CONNECTIONS: o Three 3” ports with valves for loading, unloading, and draining o One 8’ long x 3” diameter heavy-duty rubber loading hose w quick coupler fitting & 90° elbow • ELECTRIC CIRCULATION HEATER: o 14kW Low-watt-density heating elements (480V, 3ph) installed in the tank surrounded by a hot oil o or glycol bath that circulates the heating fluid to evenly distribute the heat energy o Sch 40 carbon steel drywell pipes with removable pipe insert heating elements – allows the o heating elements to be serviced without draining the tank or heating fluid medium o Hot oil pump powered by 1 HP TEFC motor for circulating heating fluid o Mechanical thermostat with RTD for regulating heating fluid temperature with manual o temperature gauges for heating fluid and tank product temperature • TANK AGITATION: o Designed for mild agitation and heat distribution and engineered for asphalt emulsion material o Powered by a 2 HP TEFC electric gearmotor with reducer; Carbon steel shaft and propeller • CONTROL PANEL: o Outdoor electrical enclosure with digital display of tank level, tank controls for operating tank o mixer (On/Off) and heater controls (On/Off). Mechanical thermostat for regulating thermal fluid o temperature to be located inside panel (to help deter unauthorized changes). Agitator will also o include a programmable timer for scheduling tank mixing. • FRAME: o Broke plate shipping/mounting saddles with lifting eyes on all four corners o All uninsulated portions primed/painted
