Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Remove the existing concrete and asphalt per the limits shown on the construction plans. Saw cutting will be necessary to establish neat lines between the proposed section and the existing pavements. The subgrade needs to be evaluated for excessive soft spots. B. The contractor will then place the subbase, as needed, and base material. Care will need to be taken to limit driving on the subgrade. After the base material is placed where the proposed curbing and gutter concrete can be placed. Upon completion of the concrete, and after grading the 3/4“ base material, the asphalt pavement can be placed. C. The contractor will install proposed conduits and drainage improvements per the construction plans. D. Install striping and pavement markings as shown on the construction plan. E. Contractor will seal coat asphalt pathway around the school per the construction plans.
