Specifications include, but are not limited to: SYSTEM DESCRIPTION A. Primary switchgear shop drawings shall be approved by Xcel Energy. No switchgear shall be energized by Xcel Energy with first being approved by Xcel Eneregy. B. Electrical Components, Devices, and Accessories: Listed and labeled in accordance with NFPA 70, by a qualified electrical testing laboratory, and marked for intended location and application. C. Comply with IEEE C2. D. Comply with IEEE C37.74. SWITCHGEAR INSTALLATION A. Equipment Mounting: 1. Install switchgear on cast-in-place concrete equipment base(s). Comply with requirements for equipment bases and foundations specified in Section 033000 "Cast-inPlace Concrete." 2. Comply with requirements for vibration isolation and seismic control devices specified in Section 260548.16 "Seismic Controls for Electrical Systems." B. Install level and plumb, tilting less than 1.5 degrees when energized. C. Maintain minimum clearances and workspace at equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and NFPA 70. D. Maintain minimum clearances and workspace at equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and IEEE C2.
