Specifications include, but are not limited to: An experienced, certified USTA teaching professional to operate programs, leagues, tournaments, and private lessons for Tennis programs to be hosted within Benton Parks and Recreation Facilities. These programs need to be available to players of all ages and abilities. Accommodations will be made to offer program for Tennis players with physical and cognitive disorders as well. 1. The operator must comply with any Local, State and National requirements and regulations and with all rules and regulations of the Park District. The operator must also comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations pertaining to employment practices and conditions. 2. The operator must hire competent help of good moral character and adhere to customer service standards of the Benton Parks and Recreation Department. 3. Operators’ employees 17 and older must consent to a criminal background investigation paid for at the expense of the operator. 4. The Tennis pro will work as an independent contractor for the Parks and Recreation Department as a recreation program instructor/leader. 5. Provide tennis lessons, establish, and manage leagues and set up and oversee tennis tournaments with availability confirmed by the Parks and Recreation Department.
