Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons , Pesticides , and Polychlorinated Biphenyls (“PCB ”) Congeners . a. Laboratory Procedures . Polyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons , Pesticides , and PCB Congeners shall be determined according to procedures appearing in Reference #1, #2, or #3. b. Calibration and Preventive Maintenance. Calibration checks of the gas -chromatography-mass spectrometry (“GC/MS ”)and gas -chromatography-electron capture detector(“GC /EC D ”)systems shall be performed according to Reference #1, #2, or #3. c . Quality Control Checks . As a measure of precision and accuracy, duplicate, full list matrix spike (MS,MSD, and LCS) analyses shall be performed every ten (10 )samples or less on each City s ample. This task shall be compensated separately and at the same unit price of the sample being analyzed.
