Specifications include, but are not limited to:vehicle Global Positioning System (GPS) and outward facing camera system that can be used in the Public Works vehicle fleet. The system is intended to be used for tracking of Public Works’ vehicles and providing video or image information that might assist with current weather conditions, work effectiveness and efficiency, and evidence in any legal proceedings. The 70+/- GPS/camera systems will be placed in a mix of construction equipment, construction and maintenance trucks, and light duty fleet vehicles.; The GPS units must be capable of tracking in all areas of Missoula County and the location of the vehicles needs to be able to be tracked live as well as show the historical tracking data for the previous 30 days. ; The camera system must be interior mounted, outward facing, provide color HD resolution, have the ability to turn off any sound/noise recording or live feed, provide real time video or imaging to office monitors, provide 30-day video recording history, and include the software and hardware necessary to use GPS/camera system.; The vendor must provide service and assistance with hardware and software associated with the GPS/camera system.
