Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work consists of cleaning interior and exterior windows biannually at the Airport and only exterior windows annually for City Hall, City Commons, the Police Department, and the Energy Department. The contractor will evaluate windows and determine the appropriate approach to cleaning based on industry best practices. Cleaning should begin at the top of the building and continue to the lower levels to reduce the risk of leaving residue and cleaning solutions on the glass at the lower levels. The contractor shall soak the glass surface with clean water and soap solution to loosen dirt and debris. DO NOT use razor blades. The contractor shall use a mild, non-abrasive commercial window cleaning solution. General Conditions: 1. Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with generally accepted industry practice for safe and efficient operation. 2. Contractor shall use qualified employees with appropriate certifications where required to perform the Work under this contract. 3. Contractor shall clean all exterior windows as requested by St. George City Facilities personnel. 4. Contractor shall clean all interior windows at the Airport as requested by St. George City Facilities personnel. 5. Contractor shall conduct cleaning between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding City Holidays. F. Contractor shall supply all cleaning solvents, lubricants, tools, parts, and equipment necessary to perform the work. G. All work shall be subject to the inspection and approval of St. George City prior to acceptance and approval for payment.
