Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall employ a master plumber who shall be responsible for the work done by journeymen and/or apprentice plumbers. All local, state, and federal regulations are to be followed which include permit applications and inspections. Any fines assessed to the City of Dover due to the lack of these regulations being followed will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. The contractor must have their own vehicle, tools & meters. The contractor must be able to respond to emergencies within a 2-hour time frame. The contractor must be licensed in plumbing and gas equipment installation and or repair in the state of New Hampshire, attach a copy of said license and have general knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing & heating system, which would include but not limited to: • Replace or repair of sinks, faucets, showers, toilets • Replace or repair hot and cold water lines • Install or repair domestic hot water heaters and circulators • Replace or repair back flows, pressure reducing valves, sewer lines • Repair small natural gas, propane heaters and oil furnaces • Conduct annual cleaning and inspections of small heating units • Provide cost estimates for plumbing and heating projects • Relocate plumbing for relocating of water meters or sewer services
