Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Demolish the complete building, floor, and foundation. • Remove all demolished material from the site. • Dispose of the material in accordance with applicable regulations. • Excavate, cap, and backfill the sewer service where it ties to the common sewer service at the west end of the lot. • Excavate, cap, and backfill the water service behind the sidewalk on College Ave. • Backfill and compact the foundation excavation with granular borrow material up to the elevation of the surrounding ground. • Disconnect the roof structure and roofing material from the adjacent building on Carlson Ave. • Contractor must protect the adjacent building (Viking Villa) from damage during demolition and backfill and will be responsible for repair of any damage to the adjacent building.
