Specifications include, but are not limited to: The 84th Street Rehabilitation Project shall be constructed in three (3) segments as defined in these special provisions. Work on segment A and segment C shall be done separately. Work on segment B may be conducted in conjunction with either segment A or segment C. The phasing for the three (3) segments is as follows: Segment A Limits: Work in segment A shall consist of all work activities from Pinedale Avenue (approximately Sta. 102+45) for both northbound and southbound traffic, up to the end of concrete on the south side of ‘A’ Street (approximately Sta. 123+58), excluding the intersection. Phasing within this segment: Work shall be done under lane closures. A minimum of one through lane in each direction shall be maintained at all times along 84th Street. Segment B Limits: Work in Segment B shall consist of all work activities at the intersection of 84th Street and ‘A’ Street (approximately from Sta. 123+58 to Sta. 129+84). Phasing for the concrete work at 84th & A: Contractor will be allowed to close the inside through lanes and left turn lanes within 84th Street and restrict movements on A Street. These traffic movements shall be maintained during this time: northbound, northbound right, southbound, southbound right, westbound right and eastbound right. The Contractor shall be allowed 10 consecutive calendar days for this phase. Contractor will be allowed a full closure at the A Street intersection. The contractor shall be allowed 14 consecutive calendar days for this phase. Failure to meet this time frame and open intersection to traffic shall result in liquidated damages to be assessed in accordance with the Lincoln Standard Specifications. Segment C Limits: Work in Segment C shall consist of all work activities from the start of concrete on northbound traffic of 84th Street (approximately Sta. 129+84) to approximately 60 feet south of the ‘Sandalwood’ Drive intersection (Sta. 154+05). Phasing within this segment: Work shall be done under lane closures. A minimum of one through lane in each direction shall be maintained at all times along 84th Street.
