Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall remove and dispose of two (2) existing HVAC units (one located at back of office and one located on side of office near generator) according to federal, state, and local regulations. B. Contractor shall transport and install one (1) new commercial grade 20-ton Carrier Package AC unit or equivalent, M#48FCM24A2A6-0A0A, with fault detection and diagnostic (FDD) controls. System must meet current Title 24 requirements. C. Contractor shall furnish the necessary rigging and trucking required for equipment installation. D. Contractor shall furnish necessary mounting hardware required for the equipment being installed. E. Contractor shall safe off existing controls and disconnect. F. Contractor shall disconnect and relocate existing gas piping to new equipment. G. Contractor shall disconnect existing electrical disconnect to feed new equipment. H. Contractor shall fabricate and install new ducting into existing ductwork. I. Contractor shall obtain pre and post unitary air flow readings to verify and confirm airflow. J. Contractor shall reconnect existing Pelican Wireless Control system to control sequencing. K. Contractor shall provide equipment checks and start-up by certified technicians. L. Where applicable, Contractor is to seek any public utility rebates and pass the cost savings on to the California Highway Patrol. M. Contractor shall start-up and test unit to ensure proper operation and to make any adjustments needed. N. Contractor shall provide on-site training to CHP staff on the operation and functions of the newly installed HVAC unit. O. Contractor shall provide two copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals to the CHP on-site contact. P. Contractor is responsible for obtaining any permits required for the installation of the HVAC unit. Q. Contractor shall remove all debris, including packaging materials from the jobsite on a daily basis. R. Contractor shall provide as built drawings and closeout documentation to CHP Facilities contact at completion. S. Contractor shall warranty work for a period of one year after installation and provide manufacturer’s warranty on equipment installed. T. The replacement equipment and installation must be compliant with the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 6, regulations.
