Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this specification is to describe a four-wheel-drive articulated wheel loader. This machine will be mobilized on an existing 40,000 lb GVWR gooseneck trailer. This machine will be mobilized throughout the state, often on short notice, to address issues at boating access sites. Maximizing the loader’s capacities to the payload of the trailer is of utmost importance to undertake work without hiring outside contractors. The wheel loader shall be new/unused (2024 model year) and standard production of the latest model with standard advertised equipment and in addition meet all of the following minimum specifications: Engine; Liquid cooled, 4- or 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel; Cold weather starting aid; 120v engine block heater; Reversing fan; Transmission; Full power shift with torque convertor or hydrostatic drive; Joystick and/or column-mounted speed and direction control, joystick thumb control is preferred; Electrical; 12 or 24-volt ignition and starting system; Must have Two (2) batteries; Master battery disconnect switch; Lights - Brake, Turn, Backup shall be LED.
