Specifications include, but are not limited to: Remove the filter media, clean the tank, repair couplings, water leveler, piping connections, control valves and verify proper operation. i) The vendor shall be responsible for all repairs to the swimming pool filtration system as deemed necessary. ii) The vendor shall include removal of the current filter media, rinse, clean, and inspect the tank and repair any damage, review all operating valves for proper operation, replace defective valves, and install new system-compatible filter media – gravel and sand. iii) The vendor shall include the replacement of the 6-inch metal coupling, and the 6-inch vertical flow meter on return piping, replace the failed water leveler with Jandy K1100, and inspect associated pool system piping. iv) The vendor shall verify the proper operation of the pool filter system. The vendor shall verify the proper operation of the swimming pool system between the freshwater backflow preventor and sanitary sewer. v) Maintenance of freshwater backflow preventor and all electrical system repair other than motors shall remain the responsibility of the City Building Services Department. vi) The vendor shall be aware of and maintain the swimming pool’s finish integrity. vii) The vendor shall notify the City of additional services necessary to maintain the operational performance of the swimming pool facility. viii)The vendor shall perform the services to maintain the swimming pool's operational qualities as per local officials monitoring the swimming pool's operational integrity.
