Specifications include, but are not limited to: Arkansas State University, in accordance with the policies of the Board of Trustees, is soliciting responses from qualified architecture and associated engineering design firms for potential new construction and/or modification/renovation of existing buildings and/or rooms for the new College of Veterinary Medicine. Selected firms will be expected to provide, at a minimum, conceptual designs and budgets, construction document creation and construction administration. Work will include, but is not limited to, surgical and anatomy labs and related support areas, administrative offices, academic classrooms, and support spaces. Separate firms may be chosen if there are multiple projects. The project will include planning, programming, and full architectural design and all required engineering for the campus and facilities for a new College of Veterinary Medicine to be constructed on the main campus in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The final size, occupancy, and composition of learning spaces will be determined during the formal programming phase of the project. Applicants must have experience in the planning and design of higher educational facilities. Prior experience in veterinary or medical related design will be an asset.
