Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University System of New Hampshire (hereafter referred to as USNH or Owner) is requesting qualifications and proposals from qualified Firms that can provide data dictionary management application for USNH, including its institutions Keene State College (KSC), Plymouth State University (PSU), and the University of New Hampshire (UNH). It is USNH’s intent to award term agreements to one or more Firms based on their capabilities and ability to meet the needs of USNH and each of its campuses. USNH is looking to modernize and simplify its data solution and infrastructure. The current environment includes, but is not limited to, Oracle, Boomi, SAP Business Objects and Tableau. It may be possible to maintain some of these solutions for an extended period as USNH migrates to the Workday ERP in the cloud. Full Data Governance Elements: 1. Comprehensive Data Governance Solution: Define the holistic USNH data dictionary solution. 2. Cost Breakdown Analysis: Provide a thorough breakdown of the proposed solution's costs, which should encompass consulting services, licensing fees, and other pertinent cost components. Include an estimated total cost based off your proposed timeline. 3. Sizing Consideration: Take into account the scale of the USNH System, which comprises 4,300 employees and serves 32,000 students, in order to appropriately size and design the data governance solution. 4. Educational Pricing Options: Investigate and include any available educational pricing options for students, faculty, researchers, and courses throughout the various institutions within the USNH network. 5. Consulting Services and Change Management: Offer consulting services aimed at facilitating a seamless transition to the new data architecture. This should include a detailed description of the services offered, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and post-implementation support strategies. 6. Environment Setup and Validation: Establish both test and production environments that are scalable, capable of supporting partial to full implementation with Workday integration. Verify the architecture's functionality by conducting testing within the Workday production environment and with legacy datasets, ensuring user readiness by end of fourth quarter 2024. 7. Ecosystem Considerations: Describe the ecosystem that supports high availability, data ownership, data archiving, and disaster recovery. Highlight strategies for ensuring data integrity, continuity, and resilience. 8. User Training and Service Model: Provide recommendations for training institutional users to effectively utilize the new data dictionary. Outline an appropriate service model that supports ongoing user needs and enhancements. By addressing these elements in a comprehensive and professional manner, the USNH can make informed decisions about its data governance solution, ensuring it meets the institution's needs and budget while delivering high-quality services to its stakeholders. The selected Firm(s) should: • Be prepared to treat USNH with a high level of attentiveness, client service, and dedication. • Offer competitive pricing and delivery of high-quality services. • Provide a scalable Solution with pricing that aligns with growth or contraction of our institutions. • We would expect the vendor to provide a long-term solution that meets our needs in the cloud future and will support our remaining on-premises technologies. • Technology solutions should rate highly in the Gartner Magic Quadrant and should have a clear technical roadmap for the next 3 to 5 years including a clear and concise understanding of the pricing model.
