Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Solar Contractor shall provide the services listed at various residential sites throughout the City of Tucson: A. Site assessment B. Structural assessment C. Solar Design D. Solar Equipment, materials and installation E. Monitor setup F. Permitting G. Application/management of any applicable incentives H. Warranty I. Firm must participate in any planned public education/outreach events. J. Provide a responsive communication with City of Tucson, Housing and Community Development Project Manager regarding project status when requested (within 24 hours by phone or email). K. The residential sites will receive a 4 KW solar panel installation. This base assumption is intended to create a common base of installation. L. It is understood that in the assessment and installation process described in item K above, each site may wind up with a recommended installation greater or lesser than this 4 KW assumption. It is understood that because of the final postselection/post-assessment a new final amount may be negotiated. M. Utilize mounting equipment that is: 1. Grounded in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. 2. Used in accordance with its manufacturer’s listed purpose and specifications. 3. Used in accordance with manufacturer specifications for waterproofing penetrations. N. Installation shall be performed in conformance with all applicable Federal, State and City regulations, ordinances and codes, Interconnection requirements for net-metered installations and any incentive-related installation requirements, rules, and timelines. 1. This defers to the SEIA Solar Business Code as a determinant of fair, transparent business practices to ensure solar customers are treated in a fair and honest manner. In addition to the SEIA Code, Companies shall abide by the law and all applicable ethical business guidelines set forth by the Council of Better Business Bureaus (BBB), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), relevant state consumer protection bureaus, and other regulatory bodies with jurisdiction.
