Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on behalf of the Utilities Department, is accepting bids to purchase AMGP Series Grinder Pumps. The following specifications describe the minimum requirements. The equipment shall be of a new, current design production model, and available to the commercial market. The bid shall include one (1) copy of the manufacturer's published specification and warranty. The City reserves the right to review the manufacturer's specifications and to choose the unit deemed to be in the City's best interest. The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to award the sections that are within the budget available. The equipment shall comply with all state and federal safety requirements. Any deviations to these specifications shall be explained. AMGP Series Grinder Pumps: The AMGP Pump is a progressing cavity-type grinder pump ready to connect and designed to fit existing EOne and Redmond grinder pump stations. The Cast Iron Housing and Motor Head shall have a powder-coated epoxy finish and is corrosion resistant. Use of pressure switches to eliminate floats for “Turn On” level and continued pumping until the “Turn Off” level is reached. These switches actuate when the predetermined depth is met. Motor: 1 HP, 1725 RPM, high torque, capacitor start, thermally protected, 240 or 120 Volt, 60 Hertz, 1 Phase. Discharge Connections: Pump Discharge terminates in 1.25 in NPT female thread and can easily be adapted to 1.25 in PVC pipe or any other material required by local codes.
