Specifications include, but are not limited to: Base Bid Projects Elements: A. Remove Select Skylights and Add Solar I. Including removal of Gabled Kalwall Skylights, replacement with flat roof, and provide roof-mounted solar panel array on ballasted roof mounting system. B. Replace Select Skylights with like-kind Fiberglass Sandwich Panel Skylights C. Upgrade the Bus Maintenance & Repair Shop Mechanical Systems I. Including the addition of a new chiller and chiller room, as well as new roofmounted cooling tower, and structural reinforcement required by the addition of the new cooling tower. D. Add new Sensors related to the Compressed Natural Gas Storage and Filling Stations. I. At select areas of the bus garage. E. Modify the existing Fire Sprinkler Deluge System. I. At the fuel lanes in the bus garage. F. Upgrade and Replace the Fire Alarm System throughout the facility. I. Upgrades occur throughout the whole building. G. Replace (39) electrical panels throughout the building. I. Including any panels still original to the 1981 construction of the facility. Technical Specifications and Drawings for the project are attached to this IFB. The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to describe The Work which the Contractor undertakes to do, in full compliance with the Contract, and it is understood that the Contractor will furnish, unless otherwise provided in the Contract, all materials, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, and all other incidentals necessary to the satisfactory completion of the Work. The Plans and Specifications are complementary, and what is called for by either is as binding as if called for by both.
