Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vendor shall agree to accept the assignment of all debts and provide debt collections services for delinquent parking citation accounts regardless of the state of residency. The Vendor shall collect outstanding balances on unpaid parking citations, administrative fees, dishonored checks, subsequent fees, and other miscellaneous claims. Services include: a. The Vendor agrees to provide collection plan and timetable for steps taken in pursuit of collection including phone calls and mailing services. b. The Vendor must operate in accordance with ethical collection practices and obey all laws, including the Federal Trade Commission’s Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Further, the Vendor shall be subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. c. The Vendor shall remain in good standing and follow the code of ethics of the ACA International. d. The Vendor shall perform collection activities including but not limited to, formally demanding payment of each collection item and/or seeking an arrangement satisfactory to the Agency. e. The Vendor shall have the ability to accept and update daily adjustments to amounts and/or due dates.
