Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks for each ticket received in order to satisfy the completion and close-out of the one-call ticket: a. Complete all applicable informational data fields on the Nebraska 811 iSITE website that pertain to the siren, and b. Mark with appropriate marking paint and flags, the underground location of the electrical utility from the correct side of the transformer to the siren using electrical locating instrumentation, or c. Depending on visual capability to view the siren and its path to the transformer, Contractor will go to the site and visually verify that the underground utility as marked previously by the Contractor still exists from the transformer to the siren, and d. If needed, Contractor will remark or “refresh” the utility and locate by re-flagging and/or repainting the appropriate utility line. 2. If specific details of the ticket or on-site activities are unclear, the Contractor will contact the party/parties requesting the locate in order to clarify information present or absent on the ticket that is unclear as to the identified area needing a locate or the work to be performed including the proximity to the siren’s underground utility. 3. The Contractor will perform the above tasks on behalf of DCEMA according to the timeframe necessary to achieve compliance with the ACT and the Nebraska Digger’s Hotline Program. All on site “Emergency Locates,” and locates after normal business hours, on weekends and holidays shall require email notification to DCEMA upon performance. 4. Upon award, the Contractor shall have the opportunity to present to Douglas County options for additional services that are not included in this RFQ. Douglas County may or may not consider, review, accept or reject such options.
