Specifications include, but are not limited to: • High-level analysis of connectivity within the current system to consider key destinations and identify any significant gaps • Plan recommendations translated into prioritized action items • Implementation and funding strategies specific to the unique connectivity challenges in Meridian • Ideas for increasing visibility and identity of the pathway system through placemaking • Policy recommendations for how to manage and maintain the existing system as it ages • Strategies for forging agreements with irrigation districts, rail operators, and other entities the City does not currently work with; The City envisions that the Pathways Master Planning process will result in a dynamic plan in format(s) that can function as a comprehensive, user-friendly reference and education tool for elected officials, staff, development applicants, and community members.
