Assess all aspects of AMH hardware, software, maintenance, and support and provide a proposal that supports the current needs of KCLS to sort and facilitate transfer of materials between all library locations. Implementation should include elements of change management and training for employees affected by the change to their job tasks. The successful Proposer will be responsible for the integration and performance of the entire KCLS AMH system and maintenance, including: In Scope: • Removal and disposal of current systems. • System capable of future upgrades to RFID, must also work with barcodes now. • Must be compatible with current integrated library system (ILS)-Evergreen. AMH Hardware • Replacement AMH parts and module package for Sorters, library mates, divertor, and staff induction stations. AMH Software • Windows client for monitoring installs, preference toward Windows Server for host. • ILS integration must support encrypted SIP2 connections via tunnel, SSH tunnel, or similar crossplatform (Windows, Linux) application. AMH Maintenance. • Renewable service contract to include: o 24-hour hotline for troubleshooting using telephone and VPN. o In cases where this doesn’t resolve the issue, an onsite technician will be sent immediately during normal business hours. o Planned site visits for maintenance once a year. o Training hours for operation of AMH by branch staff. o Training hours for AMH Specialists to enable them to perform repairs and maintenance. o Spare parts.
