Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The contractor shall review and assess canine training inventory, records, and processes and submit a written report to Academy staff. 2. The contractor shall complete an inventory assessment of the content and uses of the Vermont Police Academy canine house, grounds, and kennel and submit a written report to Academy staff. 3. The contractor shall provide a preliminary review of the VC JC canine program at the end of the first two (2) weeks of the contract. There will be an additional report and review due within two (2) weeks after the completion of the 2024 canine patrol and drug schools. 4. The contractor shall meet weekly with the canine committee. 5. The contractor may be required to travel within the state as determined by program assessment needs. 6. Contractor shall provide a report at the completion of the contract that outlines current status of canine program to include an inventory list, compliance recommendations, process improvement, and any additional items identified in the assessment process.
