Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following scope of service describe the minimum requirements for this type of service: 1. The City will provide the space for the food concession and access to the space, but the concessionaire must utilize the space in an "as is condition". The City will not furnish any additional facilities or equipment nor maintain the booth's interior such as cleaning and repairs once the concessionaire begins operation. Potential concessionaires are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to submission of a proposal. To visit the site arrangements may be made by calling the Sport Recreation office at 501-651-7740. The concessionaire shall furnish and supervise all necessary personnel, merchandise, equipment, and all other items necessary for the conduct of a concession operation except as a part of the "as is condition". 2. The concession rights granted pursuant to the RFP shall apply only to those areas agreed upon by the City at the time of the contract, leaving several secured areas accessible only to the City such as storerooms for field equipment and program maintenance. Access to the areas containing electrical meters and other vital equipment must be granted to the City although effort will be made to minimize exposure to those areas. 3. The concessionaire is responsible for providing any insurance necessary to operate such a facility, including but not limited to public liability insurance ($100,00 single limit and $300,000 cumulative minimum) and shall be responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws including but not limited to compliance with applicable public health laws and regulations. Nothing contained herein shall have any effect upon the immunity granted to the City under existing case law and Arkansas Code Annotated 21-9-301, which is herby reserved by the City without diminution. 4. The concessionaire must operate the concession booth a reasonable number of hours per week to commensurate with the usage of the fields and scheduled leagues, tournaments, and special events. This schedule must be reviewed and approved by the City. 5. The concessionaire must maintain the booth in a state of cleanliness and order at all times and shall be responsible for accomplishing any necessary repairs to the interior of the booth.
