Specifications include, but are not limited to: Technical Specifications for Three (3) Equipment Transport Trailers: 1 - Deck, Frame, Beavertail & Ramps - 1.1 The deck shall be 8’ wide. 20’ long, flat with a maximum loaded height of 34” 1.2 The deck shall consist of 2” hardwood, placed longitudinally, and secured with a torx head self-tapping screws. 1.3 The deck shall have a solid steel tread plate steel wheel covers (continuous from the front to rear wheels) adequately braced for load support to achieve the lowest ride height possible. 1.4 The frame shall be a 14” wide flange, continuous one-piece beams throughout the entire length of the trailer. Trailer main beams are to be 22 lbs. per ft., high strength A572-Gr. 50, and 50,000 minimum yields. 1.5 The cross members shall be the same strength low alloy steel as the main beam, 4” high, 5.4 lbs. per ft., 16” O.C., continuous pierced beam design, through the main rails for highest strength and lowest possible ride height. 1.6 Cross members shall be reinforced with knee bracing on every cross member from main frame to side rail. Knee bracing shall be 2x2x3/16 minimum. 1.7 Side rails shall be 8” channel, 11.5 lbs. per foot, continuous full length, one piece per side. Side rail channel shall have lips turned in exposing flat surface to outside. 1.8 Side rails shall feature cutout “eyebrows” above tires for maximum tire clearance. 1.9 The trailer shall include a minimum of 5 D-Rings per side, (Buyers Heavy Duty Forged Lashing Ring with 2 1/8” Wide Forged Mounting Bracket, part #02055, or equal – no angle or channel iron for mounting bracket – see attached drawing). The D-rings shall be mounted in line with the end of a cross member to provide extra strength. One of the D-rings on each side shall be mounted in line with the cross member that is the closest to 4’ back from front header. 1.10 Front header stop shall be 12” Channel, 20.7 lbs. per ft., uniting all four rails and gusseted for strength and support...
