Duties required of the contractor include but are not limited to labor and materials to complete the following work: • Design, permitting and construction of to replace the interior lighting and all associated wiring, add automatic lighting controls in the select areas identified in the drawing set. o Demolition of existing lighting and control to include the proper disposal of waste materials, including recycling of materials as may be required by local ordinances. o Rework and extension of existing circuit wiring as necessary to accommodate the installation of the new luminaires and controls. Match existing wiring methods; individual conductors in electrical metallic tubing (EMT) and multi-conductor metal clad (type MC) cable. o Replace all exit signage in the areas of lighting renovation. • The lighting replacement project in the south portion of the concourse has been recently completed. The Owner would like to match the lighting and controls installed as part of that renovation in similar areas of this project. o Lighting controls are an extension of the Terminal Building building automation system (BAS) utilizing lighting control technology from Blue Ridge Technologies. Lighting control shall communicate with the Automated Logic WebCTRL interface system via BACnet MS/TP . This system is maintained by Temperature Controls of Vermont. o Existing lighting control panels (Powerline Communications) shall be gutted and retrofitted with solutions serving the number of existing circuits. o Include all hardware, software and programming necessary for a complete and operational system to the Owners satisfaction. • The Contractor and his Design Vendor shall visit the site to review existing conditions and obtain information the project, including existing luminaire and control information, ceiling and ceiling height information and surface reflectance’s. • Closely coordinate phasing of the lighting and controls replacement with the Owner. Contractor shall work with and provide Owner adequate notice to allow for when work in the different areas of the terminal is to occur. The terminal must remain in operation during the course of this project. It is assumed that this construction work will occur during normal airport operating times.
