Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall be responsible for providing mechanical repair and installation services at LRWRA facilities as shown above, on an as needed basis. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in specific Work Orders provided by LRWRA. The scope of the work order may include, but not limited to, the following: • Large diameter piping system repair and replacement • Pump and equipment retrofits • Large diameter valve/check-valve replacement • Large diameter flowmeter replacement • Equipment repair and replacement • Confined space work • Concrete work B. Contractor must provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, licenses, permits, items required for safe operations, and all incidentals required for the complete and satisfactory performance of mechanical repair and installation services as defined by LRWRA. LRWRA may choose to provide all or some of the required materials for job completion. C. The Contractor may be asked to attend a pre-construction meeting for each project and be prepared to discuss the following topics: • The general scope of the work • Methods and alternatives for accomplishing the work and value engineering • Access to the site and protocol for admission / access • Hours of construction operation • Work coordination • Staging area • Specific quality requirements for equipment and material • Requirements for catalog cuts, technical data, samples, shop drawings and incidental design • The presence of any hazardous materials • Temporary services and shutoffs • Safety issues / concerns and procedures • Construction duration • Date on which price proposal is due...
