Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The vendor shall work with the City to ensure that systems and products used in construction or design are not proprietary in nature. If a proprietary item is needed, the vendor shall receive approval in writing prior to using. 2. The vendor shall provide the following services: i. evaluation of the site ii. geotechnical investigation and report iii. programming, planning and feasibility assessment iv. architectural and engineering surveys v. close collaboration with CMAR to design efficiently and to budget vi. renderings of the preliminary design(s) vii. civil design certified by a licensed civil engineer viii. structural design certified by a licensed structural engineer ix. mechanical, electrical and plumbing designs certified by licensed engineers x. preparation of construction documents to include the City’s sustainability goals xi. bid package and bid assistance to CMAR xii. interior design services?? xiii. assistance with selection of Furnishings, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE)?? xiv. construction inspection and administration xv. commissioning?? xvi. project punch-list xvii. verification of project closeout documentation 3. The vendor shall include all civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting, security, fire protection, life-safety and auxiliary systems required for a complete and operational court facility and property room in deliverables. 4. The vendor shall provide all required streetscape and landscaping in deliverables. 5. The vendor shall utilize the City’s approved Construction Contract and General Conditions. The Contract Documents shall not consist of any AIA Agreement, General or Supplementary Conditions. 6.The vendor shall provide services that meet or exceed the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and any updates thereto. Any exceptions to the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, including drawings, specifications, plans, or other work, shall be noted in writing, and approved by the City.
