Specifications include, but are not limited to: An asbestos and hazardous materials survey of the building was completed in July 2023 and is included as Attachment 1. Site photographs from November 2023 are included in Attachment 2. Locations of asbestos containing tile and window caulking are detailed on the building map in Attachment 3. Abatement includes the removal and proper disposal of all asbestos containing materials detailed in the Scope of Work below. Interior Asbestos Containing Floor Tile: Removal and proper disposal of approximately 2,822 square feet of non-friable tan floor tile located in the NW corner room, NE corner room, NW room off hallway, NE room off hallway, hallway, and SW room off hallway (See Attachment 3). The asbestos tile is glued on a wood floor and the associated mastic is non-asbestos containing. Exterior Asbestos Containing Window Caulking: Removal and proper disposal of approximately 83 lineal feet of non-friable white window caulking located around the glass perimeter of 12 windows located on the South side of the building (See Attachment 3). The building is abandoned and scheduled for demolition, and all utilities have been disconnected. The floor in the North part of the building has partially collapsed but is still solid enough to walk on (See Site Photographs in Attachment 2). The Division of Waste Management Guideline 12- Asbestos Disposal in ND Landfill Facilities – Attachment 5 should be referred to and followed during abatement and transportation.
