This is a combined major maintenance project for outlet control structures and principal spillways at 3 Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Dams: Big Haynes Watershed Dam H-3, Big Haynes Watershed Dam H-22, and Big Haynes Watershed Dam H-25. As a project, it entails in-kind replacements or repairs to extend the service life of multiple dam features. Improvements of low-level drain gates, reservoirlevel maintenance gates, localized concrete repairs, and lining of spillway pipes are some of the maintenance efforts to take place. Safety improvements for operating personnel and the public (i.e., standing platform additions, railings, and access ladders, caution signage, painting) are also coupled to the project.
