Contractor to observe EPA guidelines in recovering and disposing of refrigerant from existing HVAC equipment. • Shall include all electrical requirements for a complete operable system per code. The new equipment is single phase. Provide appropriately sized wire and new single-phase breakers as required for a complete installation. • Diffusers are to be replaced throughout building with new insulated diffusers. • Install new air handling unit vertically in the weight room. Reconnect all supply and return ductwork as necessary for a completely operable system. • New system should operate as a return air plenum. • When re-attaching the ductwork, duct and insulation is to be taped and painted at all joints. • All ductwork is to be reused. • Add duct and diffuser to weight room. • Removal and reinstallation of drop ceiling to be responsibility of the contractor. • Verify dimensions of new units prior to installation. • A SITE VISIT IS REQUIRED FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT. BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY CONTRACTORS WHO HAVE NOT VISITED THE JOBSITE PRIOR TO BID.
