Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful contractor(s) shall supply, pick-up, exchange, and clean items on a weekly basis, as requested by StarTran. Contractor shall provide uniforms for Technicians and Supervisors. Contractor shall return each individual’s uniform on hangers tied together and identified by name and locker number. Contractor shall count in and out all uniforms by individual. A record of the count shall be given to the Garage Supervisor on a weekly basis. A record of when all uniforms were placed into service shall be maintained and available for review by StarTran. Contractor shall continually upgrade the items supplied to maintain satisfactory condition for the intended purpose. Uniforms shall be thoroughly checked on a quarterly basis and necessary upgrades made. Checks to include buttons and zippers, including repair or replacement. Tags and pins shall be provided for any special instructions that may be required on a normal basis. Items with normal wear and tear shall be replaced at NO charge. Contractor shall provide the definition of “normal wear and tear” in the Response Attachments section of the E-Bid response. Items with abuse shall be replaced at a prorated cost. Contractor shall provide the definition of “abuse” in the Response Attachments section of the E-Bid response. StarTran shall be responsible for the replacement of items lost, damaged, or destroyed by excessive wear beyond normal use.
