Specifications include, but are not limited to: four curb ramp updates on 5. 5th Avenue. The project includes two northeasterly corners of 5. 5th Ave. and E. Wyeth St. and two northeasterly corners on 5. 5th Ave. and E. Hayden St. intersections. Project scope includes the removal and disposal of existing non-compliant ramps or curb/sidewalk sections, new base preparation, forming/pouring of new curb ramp, curb/gutter, and asphalt patch back per plan. Each curb ramp must be inspected by City staff before asphalt patch back is complete. Contractor is also responsible for traffic control through the duration of the project and must adhere to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Pedestrian access must be maintained on one side of the Ave. at all times.
