Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Provide and furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and methods in connection with required demolition of existing materials and installation of new materials for the replacement of an asphalt shingle top roof, including top roof gables, at the Superior Court Building, 26 Court Street, Houlton, Maine 04730. i) All roof areas of existing top roof are to have new asphalt roofing, underlayment/ice and water shield, drip edge and flashing. ii) Roof boards and trim assemblies requiring replacement during demolition due to deterioration are to be replaced to match existing building finish in profile, primer, paint color/sheen finish. (1) Replacement of any wood trim shall be the same wood species as existing, one (1) coat of primer and two (2) coats of exterior latex paint to match existing. (2) Roof boards to be replace are to match existing in thickness for adequate patching. iii) Provide any and all subcontract work, as needed. b) Actual measurements, sections, and elevations for the implementation of this project are the responsibility of the Contractor.
