Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall have adequate resources and staff sufficient to fulfill the requirements of this contract. 2.1.1 Cleanups may require between one (1) to six (6) plus employees. 2.1.2 Tools required for abatements include but not limited to rakes, square blade long handled shovels, grain scoop type shovels, and push brooms. 2.2 Vendor shall agree to conduct a nuisance abatement within twenty-four (24) hours of notification, not to exceed forty-eight (48) hours, by the Owners. 2.2.1 No nuisance abatement cleanup shall start until Owners staff is present and has taken ‘before’ photos. 2.3 All sites shall be cleaned up to the satisfaction of the Owners. 2.4 The Vendor is authorized to call the City/County contracted tow truck company when waste is too heavy or bulky to otherwise remove. 2.4.1 A tow truck may be called to manage other heavy waste (ie: engine block, etc.) too heavy to handle manually. 2.4.3.1 The Vendor shall notify the Owners when a tow truck has been called in. 2.4.3.2 The tow company shall bill the Owners directly and on the bill the location where the work was performed, and the case number provided by the Owners. 2.5 Vendor shall dispose of or recycle solid waste at appropriate locations: 2.5.1 Only tires collected as part of cleaning nuisance abatement shall be included in any billing. 2.5.1.1 A copy of the bill from recycling the tires must be included with the invoice. 2.5.2 Yard waste must be separated, and properly handled. 2.5.2.1 Lead acid batteries, waste oil and appliances must be taken to the appropriate recycling centers; if there are any other hazardous materials found, the Owner will assist in determining hazardous waste management. 2.6 It is the express intent of the parties hereto that this agreement shall not create an employer-employee relationship: and the Vendor, his/her employees and any person acting on behalf of the Vendor shall be deemed to be an independent Vendor during the entire term of this agreement.
