Must have dual radial seal dry air cleaner. Shall have wet-sleeve cylinder liner design. Shall be a turbo charged 6-cylinder diesel engine built by manufacturer of the machine. Shall have no less than 270 horsepower. Shall be equipped with a power management system for variable horsepower. Shall be equipped with electronic over speed protection. Shall be equipped with a curved stack to minimize water entry into exhaust. Shall be equipped with a system to prevent engine stall. Shall be equipped with throttle control. Shall be controlled by a switch to allow to increase, decrease and resume located on the right-hand console. D.P.F shall be self-cleaning on the fly with indicator light on monitor to inform operator of its status. Shall be rubber mounted to reduce noise and vibration. Cooling: Coolant level should easily be check by a sight glass or overflow tank. Shall have extended life coolant in the system. Shall have air to air cooling for low-speed operation. Shall have charge air cooler restriction sensor with in cab warning light. Shall have a hydraulic driven variable speed auto reversing engine fan, for improved fuel economy and cooling performance. It will also have a switch to allow operator to control the reversing. The engine shall automatically adjust for the power draw of the fan. Cooling system shall be isolated from the engine compartment. Cooler shall have a pivot and or door to provide access for easy cleaning.
