Specifications include, but are not limited to: The RFP seeks competitive proposals from qualified Firms to provide two (2) each 2-Ton Super Duty Trucks per the attached specifications. Highway Maintenance and Operations use of a 2-TON TRUCK: 1. Snow Plowing and De-icing: 2-TON TRUCK equipped with a snowplow attachment to clear highways and roads to ensure safe passage for vehicles. 2. Road Repairs and Patching: The 2-TON TRUCK can carry equipment for road repairs such as pothole filling, crack seal and patching machines, allowing maintenance crews to quickly address road damage and maintain smooth surfaces for motorists. 3. Traffic Sign Maintenance: Transporting crews and equipment for installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signs and signals along highways and roads. 4. Emergency Response: Equipping the 2-TON TRUCK with emergency response equipment such as cones, barriers, and lights to quickly respond to accidents, road closures, or other emergencies. 5. Utility Work: Transporting personnel and equipment for utility work such asinstalling or repairing roadside lighting, power lines, or drainage systems. 6. Towing and Recovery: The 2-TON TRUCK's towing capacity makes it suitable for relocating equipment and machinery as needed. 7. Routine Inspections: Conducting routine inspections of highways and infrastructure, identifying maintenance needs and potential safety hazards to ensure the smooth operation of the road network.
