Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The duration of prospective services shall be for the 2024 mowing season with the Town of Kensington’s right and option to renew annually for up to two (2) additional years under the same terms and conditions. B. Every prospective contractor shall be expected to examine all locations where services will be performed. C. The selected contractor shall furnish all equipment and necessary supplies to complete services as outlined in this document. The selected contractor shall be responsible for all fees, costs, and expenses associated with equipment and vehicles used in connection with the services identified in this document. D. The selected contractor’s services shall apply to the following areas: (1) Kensington Public Library, 126 Amesbury Road, Kensington, New Hampshire; (2) Kensington Public Cemetery (Upper and Lower Yards) located in Kensington, New Hampshire; (3) Grange Hall, 109 Amesbury Road, Kensington, New Hampshire; (4) Kensington Town Hall, 95 Amesbury Road, Kensington, New Hampshire and the parking lot across from Town Hall; (5) Red School House (corner of Amesbury Road and Moulton Ridge Road); and (6) Kensington Fire Station, 124 Amesbury Road, Kensington, New Hampshire. E. The selected contractor will complete services in a workmanlike manner and will use care to ensure that no damage occurs to any Town of Kensington or third-party property, including but not limited to headstones, markers, monuments, shrubs, trees, and fencing. The selected contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with services performed. F. The selected contractor shall provide mowing services for areas identified in this document, consistent with the below: a. The selected contractor shall complete mowing once in April, weekly from May through June, and bi-weekly from July through October. b. Selected contractor agrees to use a commercial mower with mulching blades. c. Selected contractor shall ensure that the mowing heights for all areas shall be as follows: i. 3 inches for April, May, June, and September; ii. 3.5 inches for July and August; and iii. 2.5 inches for October.
