Specifications include, but are not limited to: Daily Services: • All wastebaskets and trash receptacles shall be emptied. Refuse shall be bagged and removed to a designated area on the premises. Bags shall be heavy-duty, minimum of 1.5 mil thick, and 2 ply strong. Bags are to be securely tied at the top to prevent spillage. Trash can liners are to be replaced when soiled. • Desks, where accessible (vendor is not to remove paperwork, etc.), tables, filing cabinets, other furniture, and equipment shall be dusted with cloths treated with dust inhibitor. • Windowsills, ledges, open shelf areas, and other exposed flat surfaces shall be kept free of dust and dirt. • Glass partitioning, glass doors, door casings, walls, and light switch plates shall have smudges and fingerprints removed. • Tabletops in the lunchroom and conference room shall be washed using a disinfectant soap and rinsed. The interior of the microwaves, located in the lunchroom, shall be washed out thoroughly. Trash in the lunchroom shall be bagged and removed to a designated area on the premises. All plastic chairs are to be washed daily. • Vending machines shall be kept free of dust, and underneath of the machines shall be maintained in a clean condition. Machines to be moved if necessary. • Mats and runners shall be cleaned and put back down. • All epoxy and vinyl floor areas shall be swept clean and damp mopped using a general purpose cleaner and buffed. The floors are to be maintained in a high gloss condition by applying, as required, a sealer suitable for use on epoxy floors and buffing as required to maintain this condition. Scuff and black heel marks are to be removed daily. The floors are to remain in a good anti-slip condition. • Carpets are to be vacuumed daily in the Shop and Personnel Building and Administration Building Monday through Friday. Any areas of the carpet that show soiled conditions shall be spot cleaned.
